Otter Creek Report

Was down there today. Not bad and not all that good. Limited but took most of the day, But what a beautiful day it twas. Temp was 47 or so no wind. Ice is a constant 15 or so inches, inch or so of snow, cleats should be worn. Fished the west side early got a couple bite was slow so motored over to the nest area did well. Fished in 17 feet caught fish both on the bottom and just under the ice around 5 ft. Flasher or LCD a must as we really had to hunt for them guys. Lots of cruisers, couldn’t find them congregated anywhere. White marabou jig tipped with a minnow or waxie seemed to work best. Finally got enough to get the new smoker goin [sly] . Fish ranged from 1 1/2 to 3 lbs.

thanks for the report, I’m planning on going there next week if I can get a yard pass.
