Otter Creek, and PICS 01/31/08

We fished the North West end of Otter Creek on Thursday. The ice is about 14", and the roads were not bad. We started at 10:30 and fished till about 4:00. I would have liked to be there sooner but it was a three hour drive. I would recommend getting there at sun up if you want to catch big fish. There were four in our group and we caught about 70 fish, all fat bows. We fished with tube jigs, tipped with fresh minnows. My friend has a farm pond, and fresh, never frozen minnows make a big difference, the fish don’t nibble on it they attack it! Thanks Rod. Here are some PICS.

Nice catch!!! I have learned if you hold the fish just a tad bit closer to the camera it makes it look just a little bigger!!!HAHAHA[sly] Just giving you crap. Nice haul though!!

Thats funny I learned the same thing. :sunglasses: One more thing, I broke off my line on two fish… I always loose the big ones.

Sweet report! that looks like a lot of fun. Catching big bows like that would be awesome!
