Has anyone made the trip up the mirror lake highway? I was hoping it was open. Also what about the ice conditions at the lower lakes (trail,lost,etc) thanks ahead of time and happy fishing.
What stetch/elevation are you inquiring about? You are really pushing it, it is still to early for anything above 9-10000 feet.
According to UDOT (http://commuterlink.utah.gov/2_home/RoadClosures.pdf), the Hwy. 150 will not open until May 23. I wouldn’t go around the gates (even if the road is clear enough for travel) because Utah Highway Patrol can fine you up to $500 for it. I learned that the hard way when I went around the Hwy. 191 gates a while back. Don’t do it.
