Fished Echo Fri. Edges were solid getting on and off. Ice was good and solid. Tried the West side hoping for perch, marked few fish, only caught 1 large bow. Finally moved towards the middle/East side and did rather well; 14 trout and 6 large perch.
Fished in 55’ water. Trout coming in at 15-20’. Did best with white cutter bug, shrimp with a little pro-cure trophy trout sent. Power bait worked well also. Best catching was between 11:30-2:30. Perch were on the bottom and very tight lipped. Had to work really hard to get them (these were my goal). The size made it worth it, haven’t caught perch this big for 3 years, just not many in numbers.
Very windy and that made it cold.
