We headed out 7:15 am and we where fishing by 7:40 am. Picked up a few bows at first kind of slow and then it was like somebody turned on the switch, We decked 24 bows and 1 brown in 2 hrs from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and then it was like somebody turned the switch back off we stayed until 1:30 pm picked up a few more bows but nothing great fun day on the ice, We fished with just about everything but what seemed to work best was a orange glow jig with a worm or grass shrimp 16" bellow a kastmaster and we where 400 yards west of the main boat launch the ice was very safe ant 12" thick with 14" of snow on top, and we where in 48 feet of water
looked at the pictures and the 2nd one looks like that fish is telling you a thing or two. hoping to make it there next thursday. thanks for the info.
