A couple of DC questions? Was the ice thining toward the afternoon around the edges? I am bringing a bunch of scouts up on Saturday and obviously want to make sure the ice is safe. Would you expect any concerns with the ice, since the warm weather? Also, have you ever fished on the Charleston side? I am not sure where to go in Charleston. Thanks in advance for anyone that may have some info
Nicely done! 20+ inches out of DC is a great fish.
Radical glow what? Tube jigs? I don’t know what all they make..
Ya 1.5" tube jigs with a 16 oz tube jig lead head And the edges are just fine the ice will be safe for 2 more weeks my guess
Charleston side is the easiest to get on its going to cool down so you should be good. I have had my best luck in 8-10 water but thats up to you, but I usualy fish 200 ft for the edges south east there is a little weed bed should be around 8-10 good RBT fishing average was about 19 in let me know how you do. havent fished it much this year couple night trips but was fishing for other things in deeper water.
Much thanks to all!
