Got to the jordan river today around 5 with catcherman. Whites were hitting pretty fast when we started and died down the later it got, we caught around 40. Catcherman hooked onto something big that pulled and pulled line out for awhile toll the line broke. I ended up with the one eye that was about 18 inches and we had a few possible eyes get off. Over all a good night of catchin except the dang mosquitoes.

It Sounds like you had a good evening on the river. Nice catch,I haven’t hooked into a eye yet this year but ill be going down to the lake sat evening I just have the walleye itch!!!

So when you say whities there, you’re talking white bass? Not white-fish? (never fished the Jordan, pardon my ignorance [crazy])
Any guesses what the big runner was? Got carp? Or maybe a toad of a walleye running ya down?

Yes white bass, I would guess a monster of a walleye, the water is pretty flowing fast and not a lotta carp there. I’ve snagged lots of them on ul and never seen one run like that. It’s was cool to see one pull that much till the line snapped but would have been better to see it landed. Maybe next time tho
