Jordan river Whitie whackin'

had a few hours to kill last saturday and decided to go hit up the jordan river near 8000 south to see if anything was willing to play. got there at 2 30 pm and started fishing in the canal that comes into the main river. fished a chartruese tube jig and immedialty hooked up with something big. i fought it for about 5 minutes and then i got one glimpse of him and he popped off, to me it looked like a big channel cat. contiuneud fishing in the little eddy off the main river and all the sudden me and my dad were catching WB one after another for about an hour. took home about 15 for the fryer and turned about 30 loose for another day. then about an later they were completey gone. fished for about 30 more min and caught a couple more suckers. fun stuff. im starting to love the jordan more and more, you just have to focus on spot on the river that are out of the main currnt and you will catch them as the water continues to warm. that was also the farthest from UL that ive got into good #s of white bass. will post pics tonight off my dads phone tonight after work. thanks
