Well tomorrow we head south out of Alaska into Canada and work our way over to Jasper, Baniff and the Glacier NO in Montana
From the location of your last pics, it looked like you were getting close to the border. Lots to see in those locations you are headed to.
R&R day in Tok, Tom and I went looking for grayling and char up the Taylor Hwy but only found mini greyling. Streams don’t take much up here to get muddy and unfishable. The girls hung out at the RV’s. Last night we went to the sourdough pancake toss and I won a discounted breakfast. Yes Curt tons of stuff to see and do, I could have made this a 4 month trip easily, I see why you and many others have made multiple trips.

Tok to Haines Junction, IMO the Taylor Hwy is worse. At the Tok end we had more frost heaves, then after the border lots of construction and potholes that were, easy to avoid by watching for a line that missed them. Our travel speed was 35-40 for most of trip. Stopped at the Kluane Overlook Rest Area for a break ( about 10 miles up the road towards Tok from Burwash), Mile post said look for eagles and bears, no eagles but did find a grizzly out in the river area. Stopped at the Thechal Dhal visitor center to see if we could spot any Dall Sheep but they weren’t out. Also saw a black bear feeding alongside the Hwy. beautiful drive with all the vetch blooming alongside the road and then some fireweed and mountain Avens.
*`Vetch, can’t say I’ve ever heard of that type of flower, is it the one that looks like a birds wing? Cool bear pics.

That is a Mountain Avens which grows a lot in the areas the musk ox live. Vetch is very common all over the country and are related to beans and peas
Interesting, do you have a book that tells you about all these different plants?
I have an app on my phone that I use, that plant was talked about in a short film we had just watched and then saw it down the road at a stop
