BigEnough and me did a day trip up to Ocean Lake yesterday and did OK. There was a good 5-8 inches of ice and only two other fishermen nearby. Final tally was 9 walleye, 20 perch and 2 burbot. We lost probably a half dozen more walleyes. These perch are actually running on the small side. The guy selling minnows had a live well of sorts where he was storing a few perch for supper and there were 1+ pound perch in there, huge!
Nice catch . Did you do a day trip from Salt Lake ? I do the Gorge that way but would never even consider Ocean . [sly] I hear it is icing up at Boysen too . May hit the Gorge hard deck Christmas .

Ocean Lake is about 10 miles north of Riverton, Wyo. All fish were caught on live minnows and tip-ups.
