Put a new Impeller on boat and wanted to see how it worked, so decided on East Canyon due to close proximity. Got a late start, as I was tinkering with the boat, and missed the lunar slot, got on the at 1, the peak of the power squad. It is not a very big lake. Did as one of the post suggested, trolled back from the south arm on the east sideish in 30-40 feet at about 25- 30 down. Used a downrigger with RMT and broken back rapala rainbow. Also on second pole used lead core with 2 once attached to rudder followed by a olive wooly worm. Did well on that. Stayed 3 hours, 5 fish, kept a 13, 15, 16, pink meat, hold overs. They had little white bugs the size of a pin head in their stomachs, any clue? with algae. And the impeller did work. A bit tricky with the power squad, but they were having fun, and I was expecting as much, a bit tricky when doing solo and a little head wind.
