Skunked on East Canyon, Pretty night though

Went up to East Canyon last night for a few hours and set up at a location that seemed fruitfull. Was with my girlfriend and we didn’t have a bite. We stopped at a little cove that was nice and shadey and open.

Got on the water and saw many, many fish hitting the water but no matter what I threw at them I couldn’t get them interested. Tried a couple different rapellas, eggs, powerbait and marshmellows. Sadly left the worms at home so don’t know if they would of worked.

At around 8:45 you would of thought the lake started to burn with how many were jumping out. If only I had a shotgun I might of had a little luck [;)]

Overall good day though. Going to a spot suggested to me on Utah Lake tomorrow. Lets hope I get lucky

Anyone fished the shore where I was and gotten lucky? I will put a map and arrow of where I was. Any tips would be great.

Thanks

I just saw a report on East Canyon that sounded like it was on fire. 60 some bows - you might want to check with petty4life. Though sounds like they were trolling, but still - seems the fish are pretty active!

Including one FAT Tiger!!

That cove gets pretty shallow this time of year by the inlet.Move more toward the main lake when fishing that cove.

Also there is a nice deep channel in the middle of that cove.Make sure you have a full spool and cast out as far as you can to reach it.[;)]
