I’m planning on heading up to Deer Creek this Saturday, any recommendations on what to use, where to fish, etc?
Hope you get there early before the PS comes along. I’ve fished DC a few times last couple of months. Always fished by the dam just trolling with worms. Caught some fat rainbows doing that. Good luck
I was up there Sunday, water temp 61 deg, I trolled bottom bouncers with no results, than was throwing jigs and crank bait to shore, ended up with about 10 smb, there was a few power squadrons out I bet there will be a lot this weekend looking at the forecast, I only fished around the island and the west side, good luck.
If you are taking a boat you will have to head to the main boat ramp. It looks like they have closed the island ramp again.
