Cuts Cuts and more Cuts

Went to the Berry this morning, got there a little before 7:00…

Got on the water and was on fish, in 15 minuts I had boated 5 cuts from 20 1/2" to 22 1/4" what a start…

Headed for another spot and found lots of cuts that wanted to play, this would play out all day…I used three lures that seemed to worked the best…

The one that I tried on a hunch was a top water on the trout boils that went on.. The other was a Lucky Craft 100 and the third was a Lucky craft in a 78 both were pointers…
I got around 20 cuts on the top water and just a few on the 100 and the rest on the 78…
I ended the day at 2:00 and had boated and taped 22 cuts over 22" the biggest was 24 3/4" and over 60+ fish with 2 bows over 18" …

I left cause they pulled the hooks off the pointer 78 by strating the o-ring out, it was the best day on the Berry this year…

great report cliff. sounds like its time for some berry fun. :sunglasses:

This was my fourth trip this year and the best so far…One day they will be up and the next down when a front comes through, but with cooler water it should only get better…

Cliff, were you casting the shoreline?

Great report, Thanks!

Nice work Cliff. I’m hopin’ to get up there real soon now, so I can get into some big cutts again.

In a way yes but I stayed out in 15’ to 20’ of depth and worked the points more then the coves..

For this type of fishing it should be good till ice up…
