Causey 12/27

Causey Is still quote good but not as hot as it was last weekend. I got there at about 7:30, there was about 8" of fresh snow on the dam, 4" of slush and 4" of snow on the ice. I forgot to take my TriFlow to spray on the bottom of the sled and the snow temp was just right for sticking, it made pulling difficult. I fished about 250 feet of the dam and 100 feet off the south shore, it took a couple of holes to find the fish, about 35 8" slake 1 14" rainbow and 3 kokes.

Pink ratfinkee’s tipped with a wax worm, 8" under a swedish pimple. It took a lot of active jigging. I was able meet Petty and one other From BFT but I forgot his handle.

I will show my ignorance. What is “TriFlow” and if it makes a big difference, where is it available?

Teflon impregnated oil. Real good lubricant but pretty pricey.

I get mine at Industrial Supply in Salt Lake. It might be available at Bonneville Industrial in Orem. It makes the sled move a lot easier and stops it from picking up snow and ice. I haven’t tried it , but Armor all might work also.

Sounds like the lubricant that Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) used on the bottom of his saucer on Christmas Vacation. Great Christmas flick!

Nice report FD, were you using a fish finder, if you were, did the screen go black when the school of kokes came through? Are the big schools not moving through any more? WH2
