2017 Utah Disabled Veteran Fishing Event

Thank you sir!!! you’re on the list[;)]

Super excited to take on a crew, 20’ Tracker Pontoon/strawberry ready.. If the kokes are biting we’ll find em! [fishin]

We’ve got you on the list. Thank you sir!!!

I can take one vet looking forward to it again[fishon]

I have two friends with boats, Art Pearce and JR Oaks, that are trying hard to clear their schedules to come up to help.
You should hear from them soon.

JR Trotter? I wonder if that’s the JR I know. Is he an excavator, and done a lot of work in Utah county? If so, tell him Lanny will be looking to see him again!

Alright, it looks like I can do it again this year. Put me down for 1 vet please. Tracker 19’.

Oops, my mistake.
I meant JR Oaks.
Sorry.

I wanted to come join you guys this year since I’m out of the young mens now and didn’t think I’d be gone to camp the same time like the last few years… However, the boys decided to invite me to their camp again this year and once again it’s on the same weekend… So I’m afraid I can’t make it, but hopefully next year… Sorry Jeff

OK, Todd. I will bring the Tin-Can, and whatever tackle I have. Not sure if much of it is any good on Trout, but will give it a shot. Room for 1 Vet.

TC,

We’ve got you down. Thank you sir.

Team,

we are just a couple weeks out and only have accommodations for half the vets signed up. We need members in order for this great event to happen. Please help if you can.

Trevor, thanks so much for taking care of the boat wrangling again this year. It looks like when we get Paul Munns boat added to the list we’ll have seats for 45 vets which is just over half of what we need with 3 weeks to go. I’d like to implore anyone that hasn’t signed up yet to seriously consider it. The kokanee fishing is on fire this year with larger average fish than in past years.
If you’re not a strawberry or kokanee fisherman no worries as there is excellent trout fishing and both rainbows and cutthroat are relatively easy to catch using both bait and lures. The vets will each receive a rod and some basic tackle including trout fishing baits so if you’re short on gear it’s not an issue. Myself and most of the other volunteer boaters are also happy to share locations and tactics for this type of fishing as well. Don’t let yourself miss out on this greatly rewarding experience due to concern about not being a fishing expert at Strawberry.

Getting close but not quite there yet. In the last 24 hours we’ve received a huge out pouring of volunteers. Thank you BFT members and all the members of team Hill AFB. Lets keep them coming!!!

Trevor,

Sign me up for one passenger.

-Ryan

I just got off the phone with Trevor, he should be putting me down for 1 vet. The boat is a 18’ Tracker Targa.

Just so you can update your boat roster.

Getting very close but we still need captains to accommodate another 10-15 vets. Thank you all for your continued support and consideration for this event. Without your support we could not make this happen.

Todd and I appreciate you all!!!

I have an old boat and very little skill. But I would be happy to help out. how can I get more information on where to go and what will be going on? I could probably take two vets out with me.
