worked for me

*Here is a simple midge pattern that only takes a minute or two to tie.
*

  • Daiichi 1130 size 18- ribbing silver wire- Body scud backing- white plastic bead- coated with Sally hard nail
Used this as a dropper off of a elk hair caddis. Small wild brookies & browns really like it.

that looks so easy I wonder if I could do it..

Si mi amigo.

:-)… now all I have to do is find my vise.. seems that nice clean room from a month ago now has several extra items blocking/on my tying table.. LOL>. one of these day Ill catch up on the files I want to tie up..

*Hay there MacFly for sure I am hardy fastidious when it comes to tying flies, so if it looks similar to the intended pattern then I’m okay with the results. After all it is not my fellow fisherman or myself that needs to be impressed but those little characters lurking in the depth. Here fishy, fishy. lol

lol.. true.. but it always makes “US” feel better if it looks good to us.. LOL>. but your are right.. the fishies dont care as long as it looks like food.. lol..

btw .. I think that fly looks great..
