Hit the Nell this morning and the wind hit back…
Temp. at 7:00 was 37 air and water was 62 with the wind at 10 to 20 mph or close to that…
Fished a few of the old spots with out any bites no fish till 9:01, I fished from 1’ out to 40’ with grubs in 5 colors and cranks and even jig & pig no fish… I wanted to try a swim bait I used at Powell but no takers with that…
In 20’ I graphed some fish but they moved away about as quick as I seen them, I put on the Mojo drop shot with the gulp minnow and was dragging it in 20 to 25’ when I got my first bass at 14"…
Kept looking all over the lake got 3 trout and 19 bass for the day, all fish came from water 15’ and deeper out to 45’…Biggest bass at 16+ and smallest at 11" the wind made it hard to hold and fish…
Some white caps off and on over the day headed home around 2:00…
