"3.26 BILLION GALLONS FOR THE GREAT SALT LAKE
Roughly 3.26 billion gallons of water will be released from Willard Bay to the Great Salt Lake and its surrounding wetlands, following a $100M Pineview Reservoir pipeline project in Weber County that replaces 6.4 miles of pipeline supplying half the drinking water for 120,000+ Ogden-area residents. The Great Salt Lake Commissioner’s Office says the release, timed with the height of fall bird migration, will help sustain the lake and its wetlands. The lake is currently at 4,189 feet, about nine feet below the 4,198 feet considered healthy."
Sorry, I don’t know the source of this, other than it was posted on FB.
