This is my first post hope it works.
Went to willard saturday and sunday for 3 or 4 hours each day and caught some awesome wipers and crappie on bobbers and jigs.
Welcome to the site and what a way to start off with some nice fish. I fished Friday and Sat. mornings and was totally blanked both days. I guess maybe I should have tried flipping jigs instead of trolling and bottom bouncing for the walleye. Hoping to get back out the end of the week for another try.
Thanks i am going to go back out on Thursday and hit it again and try and get a full day out on the water.
Our youngest daughter is flying in from Baltimore Thurs. so I’m going to try to get her out fishing for at least one day while she is here on a week vacation. Good luck to you on Thurs.[fishin]

The boat in those pics sure do look familiar… Oh and thanks for gettin me excited to go out Trophyboat, one stinkn’ catfish for 8 hours of fishin monday. Blades, cranks, jigs, dynamite… nothing gottem in the boat! Maybe I need to trade the 150 in for a jet drive[;)].

did you go where i told ya??? We wacked em pretty good 3 days in a row. I never made it out yesterday though. You are supposed to call me to go but never do. i am headed out this weekend too, no trout fishing till willard slows.
Thanks for posting your report with pictures and welcome to BFT. We were out there near you on Sat but I think we got there too late. We talked to a guy in a float tube that told us he and some guys he was with had done good for crappie and wipers earlier in the morning. What time did the catching start for you?

Actually I have a pretty girl, but she hates fishing, and another one that likes fishing, but she’s only 9.
well im not really a morning person so we got out there at about 11 or 12 and stayed till 3 or 4 it seemed to be later in the day for me.

If you guys/gals didn’t get out there until 11 or 12, it sounds like we left too quick because that was around the time we were there. We were in the boat in the picture, did you see it?

I’d love to have something like that on bigger waters here in UT. Probably a bit of a wind sail for most of what I like to fish for but very nice.

Yea, I thought that might have been you two. I’m guessing you were the one taking the pictures[:/]? If so, I noticed your wife/girlfriend reading a book when we were going toward the shore, when we got there. Had you started catching any fish at that point? or did the catching start later?
