Hit willard with a friend on saturday, slow for us. ended up only boating 1 eye and 2 wipers, covered alot of water.
Any time you can catch something out of Willard, especially this year is cause for celebration. Willard has been kicking everyone’s but butt. Hope you have better luck next time out.[fishin]
Willard is very tuff right now.

Great pictures, oh and nice fish too. I love it when the ladies get out fishing, especially when they aren’t afraid to touch the fish.
Tough day for me and RAK as well. Been catching over a dozen on our trips but today was a bust. Fished from 6:30am -1:30pm. Had two strikes but they didn’t hold on.
We went up there as well on Saturday. Best day we’ve had so far this spring. Got there about 9 am, didnt get anything till 2, but caught 6 Walleye, a wiper, and a catfish by 4:00. My daughter caught the biggest walleye, was 20". She lost a wiper because my brother couldnt get it in the net [crazy]. My brother caught the wiper, was 19 1/2". My daughter also got a cat fish to the boat and it got off. I lost a walleye. Then the storm hit about 6, we headed in for the marina and ended up towing a bigger boat into the harbor. That was fun, my daughter was freaking out lol. Then we went back out in the same place, my brother caught one more walleye and then the trolling motor battery died and we couldnt get anymore so we left around 8:30 pm. Not too bad of a day, hated the sun and the bugs, but it was fun. Only thing we got hits on was the bottom bouncers. At first i was using a black, red, and silver harness, but changed to a silver spoon with green beads and thats when we started getting the hits, so everyone put green harnesses on. My dad was the only one that got skunked, wonder why…[pirate] Think its because he hasnt taken his wife fishing on the new boat yet.
We were out there too, 1 wiper and 1 walleye. pretty slow, we havent really found any good concentrations of fish yet. I think its just finding them right now, every time we hit a small school we got a hit. Theyre eating, just being elusive. By the way Kody, this is your neighbor down the street, you still aint called to go out! thinkin bout goin out a couple times this week, give me a call[;)].
I spent the better part of the day out there on thursday as well and had about the same results, willard has been really tough for me this year no stellar days yet for me. which down the street neighbor are you talking about. north south east west???
