whitebass from Utah Lake

Just some whitebass, cought from AF harber. saw thousands cruseing the shoreline

Were you inside the harbor or on the lake side. I hit it Saturday and trolled the lake from Geneva to the Jordon river outlet. Not one bite trolling, caught a few throwing jigs in the tollies.

I fished in the lake. West side of the harber by the cement slabs.
There were people catching whites all day long were the creek runs into the lake, before you enter the harber. Next time I go, going to take my float tube, and my camp trailer.

What worked best? Jigs, Spinners…

What worked best for the white bass? I went out tonight to the AF boat harbor and only hooked into one white bass. Water was really choppy and lots of white caps. When I started the creek was nearly dry, when I left just after dark it was running pretty high and fast.

I used white curly tail jigs one eighth oz, and black mepps spinners. for the most part, It was calm winds and flat lake for most of theime I was there., wind did pick up later inte afternoon but bites kept comeing
I want to try over by the sewer plant out flow, that has been a very good spot in the past. Over north west of the lindon harber there is a hard to find Little creek that runs into the lake. did very well there afew years ago for whites that were huge, the fillets were almost as big as the last bass I brought home.have you tryed the drainage ditch that runs by the lindon dump ,were it hits the lake was good too. at least it was good last time I fished it Walleye would run up it to caught my biggest ever13 pounds. also a big muskrat and plastic bags by the ton and a big brazzeer. also a drainage ditch coming off the old geneva property was good if its still there.
also cought tons of whites over in front of the old ireco bomb makeing plant (one that whent BOOMB) also many chanel cats, and afew walleyes.
All that might have changed just need to do some searching to see if you can still find those areas.

Thanks, I will have to see if there is still access to those areas you have talked about without a boat. Maybe I will see one of these days. Been waiting for the white bass run. They are great for fish tacos or breaded as fish n chips.
