Hey guys i just moved here from kansas and i wanted to introduce myself to everybody on the site. It came up on a google search for utah forums. What are some good places to catch perch or crappie in northern utah, or has anybody had any success recently for any of those species. i dont really know the area all that well.
Not sure how far north you are. Pineview in the Ogden area has a large population of perch, usually small however. There is also a good population of crappie in there with some really nice fish caught by the guys that know how to catch them. There also crappie in Willard Bay, perch and bass in Mantua. There are a lot of warm water opportunities depending on where you are and how far you want to travel, in a boat or from shore. Welcome to the site. What part of Northern UT you talking? Logan, Ogden, SLC?
Rockport has some perch. Pineview is usually good for a few panfish. As said, willard, mantua, east canyon, echo, they all hold them. My first choice would be pineview but it’s the closest to me soooo…
