I do not post a lot but still fishing
went to strawberry just to catch Rainbows just waiting to catch Kokanee
last time at strawberry was sept 1.
was trolling the first spot we stopped did not catch a fish over 14 in. got about 12 bows and 2 cuts. stayed there about 1 hour.
in water 25 to 40 feet deep. about 6 boats there most were jigging. did not see them catch a lot.
the next spot no boats we were catching bigger fish biggest rain bow was 24 in, we got a lot, most most were rainbows not very many cuts
trolling with 4 downriggers using kokanee lures 20 feet down was the best. had the front downriggers down 20 ft. and the back down 15 ft.
with about a 45 feet set back we stopped fishing at 10:30 AM
so we had about as much time driving as fishing
