Fished Lindon today. Very slow for me. Managed to land 6 gills and 1 green sunfish. Most of the gills were decent size, up to 9". Very light biters on very small jigs tipped w/ a waxie. It seemed everyone was having a slow day. At least it was a nice one. Ice was 4-6" thick in the harbor.
You did better than I did. I am trying to learn the lake. I don’t know how many holes I dug and how far I walked, but I did not have any luck.
I know they are in there in quantity, but I just don’t know where they are. We just limited out at Pelican on Monday, but Utah Lake is another story for me. Do you normally catch a bunch in Lindon harbor?
First time I’ve fished Utah lake on ice so I don’t really know what to expect. Talked to one guy that said last weekend was hot. Maybe its an on and off kinda place.
my freind fished it all day tuesday with 1 bite. so you did good for that place. af and provo are better for panfish. more weeds and sticks in the marinas. lindon had all it weeds and brush takin out a few yrs back. it has realy changed the fishing ther.
