UT Lake Walleye

I thought I would share what I was able to bring home for dinner the other night.
They were my first Walleye I have caught, and I have been pursuing them on and off for 3 years. I almost had one through the ice from Yuba this winter but got off at the base of the hole.

saaaaaaweeet

Nice work

Those are some beast! Good job!

Nice job man! I’m going to be going out tomorrow morning hopefully I’ll get at least one this time.

Congratulations are in Order!!!

Congrats, isda. And also my wishes that nobody spews acerbity or opprobrium. You deserve none.

After looking those words up, I too hope this thread stays friendly haha

**I ran point with my single biggie…and I took most of the hostile fire. Hopefully the battle is over.

As do I!:sunglasses:

Ok smarty pants, now you’re making my head hurt.[:P]

Nice eyes Deryck. I guess you made up for not having caught one before with those hogs. Glad to see you’re still fishing after all the ice is almost gone.

Congratulations Deryck on some fine walleyes.

Thanks everyone!!! And to you as well Pat, it was mostly your post which gave me the courage to put these pictures up. I have been very hesitant to post them, for not wanting to be harassed.
I was not aware of the quantity of large fish in our muddy pond.

Right on those are nice walleyes! I’m going out tomorrow to try for my first one. If I do half as good as you I’ll be happy! Nice job!

Nice eyes, how did you catch them?

Nice fish! how much did they weigh? 8lbs?

Nice looking fishes, congrats…

What did those walleye weigh? Those are some nice fish!
Nice catch! I hear walleye are very delicious to eat. Did you fillet them?
