What puzzles me is human biengs that dont like sharing knowledge on any subject whether it be a secret fishing spot, or how to do a never before seen pattern while sewing. I mean if you can give someone fishing knowledge on a spot, what time of day, what bait u used, then that person uses that knowledge goes out fishing and has a great time.. right there should be gratification. who cares if your spot gets blown up and tons of people start going there now. thats even better cuz now you helped tons of people have a great time rather than just one and that should be a even greater feeling. im sure there is fun in finding other spots with gps or just knowledge of where fish like to hangout. Thanks for all the poeple on this site who share thier knowledge and detailed fishing reports intermediate fisherman such as myself really appreciate it. This site is exactly what i been looking for four months. sorry about the negativity as i only really experience it on the net and not while having a real convo with other human present. im a super positive great energy bringing guy but i feel this must be said for the greater loving of mankind. giving out info or sharing knowledge is light. withholding info or knowledge is dark.

Thanks guy. I had a real bad feeling in my stomach after I posted that as I knew it would offend or make people mad so it just felt negative to me. Im just a guy with a beautiful wife and three kids who goes to work at the saratoga springs arctic circle and lives check by check. Someone who is only significant to my family and friends and unknown to the rest of the world. Though Someone has to try to start changing this world. No matter how signifacnt you feel You can do something about it. Spread love not hate, spread inormation not disinformation.

Just as an FYI, StarKincade has been more than willing to share any/all spots that he fishes. He’s personally given me his honey hole for Walleye and has taken at least one other BFT’er that I know of. I get what you’re saying about not sharing info, but SK is one of the guys who is always sharing. Just my 2 cents.
Anyhow, I got my ass handed to me yesterday at UL and reading this report makes me really feel inferior.

Hey everyone! Glad I found this board!
My kids are in a fishing class through Orem Rec. and they are fishing at Lindon Boat harbor later this week.
We went last week and it was super windy and chili and they got skunked. Not sure if it was weather or setup. Needless to say that is not the best experience for kids to enjoy fishing.
I have a very limited tackle box at the moment but I am looking for stuff to add to it to maximize the fish caught by the kids.
What bait/lures/setup should I use for the kids? I am willing to go buy what ever we need.
Roostertail spinner in Gold Blade, Green body, and yellow tail tipped with a nightcrawler. Size 1/8th.
It is a Utah Lake killer on White Bass, Largemouth Bass, and green sunfish.
