This past year has been a tremendous amount of fun competing doing something we all love anyway, fishing. All though I don’t need an excuss to go fishing having a contest to get fish into has not hurt.
Then when the contest ends and the winners announced and you think all is said an done, at your door step a package shows up and the fun just continues. I was happy with a trophy I was sent for the 16 species contest. Then a few days later another package shows up at the door. It was like Christmas coming early. Tackle and T’s. I felt like a kid again and you know what it’s all free. Being a member and joining in what a reel deal. You know all they ask is you visit the site sponsors, I’ve used these companys and there are great prices on tackle and gear. This site is a win win situation.
Thanks again BIGFISH

sO YOU DONt actually enter, but you send your pictures in tooo…?
What species dont count? Does it matter if it is a “trashfish” or does it have to be all game fish, also can it be fresh and salt water combined? Or one or the other..
The part about the BigFishTackle logo… does it have to be somewhere on me when the pic is taken? If I’m reading this correctly, I can’t “paste” the logo on the pic once it’s in my computer. Is that correct?
I have finally got back to fishing. The Rivers are still well over the banks and so much freshwater from all the rains make catching fish hard.. We have got over 7 inches of rain so far this month. Hopefully the water will get better with time.
Hey there lonehunter. Love the smallmouth bass. I catch them all the time hear in Michigan. To bad I didn’t know about this competition, or I’d be giving you a run for your money on that bass. At the end of June 2003, I caught a 21 inch smallmouth bass. Got my pic with it, but not along a tape measurer or with the logo. Maybe next year! [;)]
that’s a pretty good size smallie . i used to catch them at flatrock , the largest was 28 inches , i was steelhead fishing at the tail end of the run .
there’s plenty of time left to get some big fish , the fall feeding frenzy is coming soon , a pike , muskey , coho , steelhead , stergon , walleye , gar , carp , all big fish to get some fast numbers up !
contest update Agust 25th lots of time to enter, but please dont wait till the last minute. even if your score is zero at the moment just a couple good size fish or a dozen small freys can bring you right up there in points. [left]
