My family from California came up to visit and I have a nephew that likes to fish as much as I do and since it was free fish day in Idaho the price was right so we headed north to my favorite pond and after a nine o’clock start we went to catching fish. Started with a 17 inch’er the smallest of the day then picked up four more between 17.5 to 18 and ended the day with a 21.5 inch tank with big shoulders and depth it was the nicest string of fish I’ve caught this year. Thanks for a great time Idaho. Later J
That’s a great haul. Congrats.
(Next time bring your camera.)
Didn’t get very good pictures this time, I was captain, bait boy, deck hand, chief netting agent and etc. so I didn’t have time to take the good photo’s but I have some after the trip shots and as usual the apple products don’t make it easy to transfer directly to the forum so I tried sending them in an email to the computer at home and the e-mail server is down tonight so maybe tomorrow at work I can send some photo’s and transfer them… so sorry for now but check tomorrow around lunch time… Sorry to keep you hanging, but they were some mighty tasty fish, just ate the big one for family dinner it was great… Like it when the bones are big enough even I can see them… Later J
So, um - what kind of fish? Were they perch or trout? [crazy]
I was hoping to take a run for the border, but went playing in your backyard a bit. Got into some shallow muddy waters! Ugh - too much wind, and no kitty love.
Hope to try it again this afternoon, if it’ll warm up a bit!!!
Hey Yote, here’s a couple pictures that will answer the questions… We did get a couple perch but didn’t count them they were pretty small…
I’ve been hearing rumors of the fish on Cutler returning to the river, walleye and cats with size have been showing up in the river channel… In fact the neighbor has caught a couple eyes last week using jigs, said they wouldn’t take the crawlers for him… Good luck tonight, let me know where your going to be I’ll drop off the $5 I owe you… Later J
