strawberry

I am headed to the Berry in the morning. Just wondering if any of you have been up there recently and how it was doing. Any info helps. Thanks

I am headed up tomorrow as well. I am thinking fishing is going to be tough because I have a good idea that the lake is close to turning over; plus the full moon probably doesn’t help but I am going to get out and have some fun any way because it will be my last time to get out in awhile! Its that darn wind that we will have to worry about. Good luck to ya

just headed up now. good luck :sunglasses:

Waiting to hear.

Fished the Soldier Creek side when I went up. The lake was rough and windy with the front coming in. I only landed 1 rainbow in the 3 hrs I was there. It was very slow and the fish were spread out. Left the Berry and headed to Jordanelle to try and pick up some bass. The water was really dirty and brown. I have never seen that there before. Over all It was a slow day for me.

What did you use at Soldier Creek? I’m headed to the berry for 3 days in the afternoon. Was wondering what people had been catching them on. Fun note the week before Memorial Day the state usually plants a billion 2-3 inch bows in the berry so the fish eat themselves sick and not so many get taken on Memorial day!
I hope that doesn’t sound too Negative.[:p]******

Where do people like to shore fish on Strawberry, or float tube? It’s a big lake so I’ve never really given it a chance. Is there a good place to walk the shore and cast rapalas or to float tube and troll streamers?
