I had essentially the same experience in Chicken Creek East on Saturday.
I fished chicken creek east Saturday and did much better in shallow water. It was tough fishing and every fish I caught was well earned. I left satisfied though with my overall catch. My best suggestion is to fish in 10 FOW and hug the bottom tight. Your welcome to PM me if you’d like.
