Please help! I want to know if there are any docks in the water at the Strawberry Bay Marina…or should I bring my waders for launching the boat.
Thanks,

The marina still has one courtesy dock for launching/retrieving as of last Saturday (11/10). The Renegade boat ramp has no docks whatsoever.
there are more ducks in the channel between strawberry and soldier creek. you have to walk a long ways or boat to get there, thats where most of the duck are, or they will be rafting out in the middle of the lake. later chuck
ooops, I thought you said ducks, lol, oh well if your after ducks the channle is good. later chuck
There is still one dock in the water, however the restrooms are locked and the store is closed at the dock. The restrooms at the turn off of HWY 40 in the visitor’s center are open in the day. The fishing was excellent today. I would be releasing a fish from one pole as the other one was getting hit. We had several hours of non stop fishing. We caught several fish that where big and fat the largest one being 25 inches and 5.5 lbs along with several Rainbows.
I’m going up to Strawberry tomorrow. Any hints on what to use, where to go, what time of the day?
Any reports on shore fishing action at the berry? The boat is put up for the winter, but might be tempted to hit the shoreline if the fish are biting.
The fish are not as active close to shore as they were a month ago. They seem to be moving into winter mode…cruising over the bottom in deeper water. Those who are catching the most are fishing on or near the bottom in at least 20 feet of water…and up to 30 or more.
Scofield is still kicking out lots of trout for shore anglers. Soak minnows either under a float or on the bottom or throw lures. Flies behind a bubble have also been working well. Tubers and tooners are fishing flies with sink tip or full sink lines in shallow to mid depths.
One of the best shore fishing areas, according to recent reports, has been in the dam arm of the lake.
