Not the best of days on Strawberry today but still pretty stinkin fun. We fished the soldier creek side from 7am-3pm. The water stayed around 42-44 degrees all day. We ended up between the 2 of us catching 4 Kokanee, 5 Cutts and 16 decent Rainbow, 25 in all. Had on another 4 Kokes but they decided to take a jump and flip off the hooks. Missed a few bites here and there as well. All in all pretty good day, got windy around 11-1, but for the most part t’was a beautiful day. Can’t wait til the Kokes start coming on strong again!!!

One of my goals this year is to really learn the art of Koke fishing at the Berry. My boat has one more week in the shop fixing a trailer bearing and then I’m up there!
