Fished Strawberry yesterday with my brother and a couple friends. We decided to fish from shore at Mud Creek. We arrived at 7:30AM and fished 'til about 1. We ended up landing 16 and had many other chances that slipped away. We were using powerbait to catch all of them. The wind picked up at about 11 and was steady there on out. The biggest was a 4lb. Cutty that measured 22 inches. We only landed one rainbow, which was about 16 inches. Overall, a fun trip and it looks like that will be my last trip up to the Berry 'til next spring, time for snowboarding now!
did mud creek have any ice on it yet?
Yes, the very back part of the bay was iced over but a majority of the bay was fishable
