Got to Chicken East about 7:30 a.m. Out on the pontoon boat by 8:00. Caught first fish within 5 minutes. Some fish were caught in 15 to 25 feet of water. Some were suspended 8 to 22 feet. But most of the fish were actually caught on the very bottom. I was using geen w/red flake tube jigs and white w/black flakes. Verticle jigging worked the best. The cutts would really slam them jigs. Outside temp was 35 degrees, water temp was 41 - 42 degrees. It stayed windy the whole morning and afternoon I was there. But the fishing was well worth it.
