Starvation medium action

I have been dodging rain and hail storms out at starvation for the past week or so. The fishing has been very frustrating at times but always worth getting out there and doing some exploring. I have gotten skunked twice and had a day with two little walleye and a day with just 1. Today I got out on the water around 9 am and only fished till noon. In three hours of fishing I caught 1 nice 22 inch walleye 1 ok 17 inch walleye and a smallie under 12 inches. The walleye were caught on a bouncer with a spinner harness(orange blade). The smallie on a shad rap. Every day I have fished I have been getting good bites with all colors but unable to set the hook. (It is tough I tell ya when you have oars in your hands.) I will also say that I have only been fishing in the Knight hollow area because I dont dare venture further with all the clouds that come in each day without fail around noon. Today it was glass…til noon then all hell broke loose. I am hoping for a little streak of steady next week. I think the walleye are very scattered right now.

pics are of the smaller fish the other day. Today I went to take a picture of the nice walleye I caught but camera was dead[:(] oh well…I just let all my fish go this week but next week I am feeling a shore lunch fish fry[;)]

Nice catching, the fronts won’t let it break loose just yet. I hear the park is closing for 3 days ?

The whole park and lake or just the ramp? I have big plans on sun - tues I hope you can still fish it.

Suppose to be Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Talked too the ranger on the phone

the whole Reservoir?.. maybe I will have to go to pelican on Sun., but I cant believe they will not let anybody on the lake for the whole weekend.[crazy]
