I had my downriggers between 40 and 17 feet all of the cuts I got at 40’ were over 20" the ones at 27 to 17 feet were not to big.
this red fish I got was in the meadows in 45’ of water down 40 feet.

they had the check station opened outside of heber first time I have seen it open
it was 6:30 am
It’s so interesting to see the transformation if the salmon during the spawning period. The way their bodies turn so red but the big thing is the changing shape of their heads.
not sure how long he was about 18 are 19"
later in the day went here (in attachment) saw a lot of fish on the fishfinder
I was after cuts went through them 4 times no bites may have been kokes
was using this stuff. using worms shrimp and chub meet.
the last attachment was by haws point, (I think) on the SI the white marks don’t know if they are fish are rocks.
I think in years past, they collect their fees until either (1) the water is drained from the campground (marina bathrooms/fish cleaning station) or (2) they pull their docks. Which ever happens first. I think this happens around the 3rd or 4th week of October.
