Can anyone give me an update on the Scofield slush monster. It’s been almost a week since I’ve hit the deck and last time it was pretty bad. I’m thinking of heading down in the next few days and I’m curious how the warmer temps have affected the ice conditions.
i was up there on sunday and the slush was hit and miss, usually in large pockets and ranged from 1" to about 6" in the worst spots. I was able to find some good sled tracks from days prior that had frozen solid and made the walk a lot easier. fishing was very slow going.
I will probably be there on Wed. I will post the conditions.
I was up there yesterday(12/29). Slush is hit and miss. When I drilled a hole in an area that didn’t have slush, the water came up through the hole an inch or two. Some of the slush has started to freeze and you can walk on it some of the time. Stick to old tracks as much as you can. Snowshoes helped alot.
Fishing was kind of slow. 7:30-3:00, 6-tigers, 5-cutts, 3-bows.

Thanks, it will be appreciated.
