Ran up to the Uintas again… needed an ice fix after nearly a month!
First lake, same as the last. The sun was brutal at times. I thought I was melting..
There was actually others fishing that lake when I arrived! Pretty cool!
On to the next pond. A few minutes later..
As I sat there looking down the hole, I could see the bottom. I also noticed a lot of dirt on the ice. I thought what would be more perfect in the mountains than a big fire and some Smores..

Who thick is the ice on those lakes now? That second lake starting icing pretty early this year.
