I’m wanting to take a friend ice fishing Friday and am thinking about Rockport or Jordanelle, maybe even Deer Creek if the island area has safe ice. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanx.
If I had my choice between the 3 I would pick Rockport if that counts for anything.
I drove to Jordanelle on the 4th and it only had small amounts of ice deep in the bays. DC had 4 inches of ice on the north end by charelston and the island was completely open water. Someone posted that DC just capped but is unsafe. Hope this helps.
