Fished Rockport from 7:30-2:30. Caught 13 perch and 6 trout. The perch were big and fat only had 3 dinks out of the 13.
The trout were nice fat rainbows right at the 16" mark. They all went back into the lake to grow some more.
With all this wind and warm weather we’ve had, how are the ice conditions?

Good job. Nice looking perch there.
The ice was 6" thick where I was at. I was fishing in only 20’ of water and about 300 yards out and a little northeast of the 3 bathroom parking area. The perch as well as the trout were biting on the smallest glow tube jig I had tipped with perch meat.

I was there two, out from 2nd bath, had about same luck. Fished from 0730-1300 and caught 22 perch and 4 trout. Alll of my trout were smaller than yours.
Looks like Rockport is the close place to go for descent perch this year.
