going to soldier creek, ?? is the road open to the lake, I was told that it is walk-in only. Also i will be fishing from the bank so should i go to soldier creek or strawberry area.
Road is just fine to Soldier Creek, not sure what you mean? Lotsa places to fish around SC.

Bad post on my part, should have said road to the marina at soldier creek. to use too texting.
You have to pay if you pass the gate. Plenty of places to pull off before the gate, but water is low so there will be a hike involved. I enjoyed that myself.
There are 2 roads along the banks of Soldier Creek…the one that leads to the dam is free…and the banks off of it are STEEP!

Yes the road to Aspen Grove. Over by the narrows. Been a long time since I went over there but nice place. I am not sure if that marina is free or not.
correct me if im wrong, but isent some of the land over by the narrows, belong to the indian reservation?
Good question. I have no idea. I was talking up to Aspen. We camped at Aspen Cove a couple times and there was a dirt road off to the west that passed some nice shore line. We launched our SFCs there to give you an idea of how long ago this was…LOL
