just got back from the pump house around 445 pm. fished from 130 til 430 did really well for once, caught probably 15 blue gill, a couple of white bass, and a couple of perch. i was using a green and orange rat finkie for the gills and the bass were taking a ice fly with an eye painted on it. all were tipped with a meal worm. met another bft guy named travis who was there with his son. hopefully they can slam a few as well. good luck!
Yep, that was me, it was great to meet you guys! My boy ended up catching a bunch of gills, 3 nice white bass, and a crappie. it was all i could do to keep wax worms on his hook! I finally just left my pole out of the water because it was awesome seeing him have so much fun!
sweet, i am glad you found them. it is good to see the kids getting into it. i can’t wait til my little guy is a little older to take him.
