Winner for Friday, January 31, 2003 is Al Johnson, with a 6lb. 3 oz. winner. Al won a daily pass and is currently in position to fish on the March 9th fish off. Saturday,

February 1, 2003 was a lucky day for Al Spangler of Long Beach. Al also received a free pass for his efforts when he weighed in his 4lb.7oz. catch. Al is also currently qualified to fish on March 9th.

Sunday, February 2, 2003 was notable for Tom Cash of Lake Forrest. A free pass and entry for the March 9th fish-off were his rewards for his 4 lb. 5 oz. catch. Tom was camera shy or in a hurry so he didn’t wait to have his picture taken with his prize.

Honorable Mention to Fred Ichikawa of Long Beach for his 15 lb. 11 oz. catch on February 2, 2003. Fred is a longtime landing friend and has opted not to participate in the competition because of relationship with the management. A fine catch worth mentioning anyway.
