Posting rules

Moderators:
When I (for i.e.) post a question on the (general forum), on equipment, gear, etc. I do it for a reason. I can’t argue the rules but, ----------------, if I want a viewing and a response, I ain’t going to get it on the techniques, gear, etc. forum that my post is eventually moved to. [frown][frown][frown][frown] For me, I would appreciate it if you could just leave it where posted so I could get some responses or delete the other forum. Sorry, to come off negative, just my 2 cents. No offense intended, ok! You guys do a great job and I mean absolutely no disrespect for the work you guys do, really!!! Is there a better way or should we just live with the rules? Sorry, guys, just my 2 cents again. [frown]

If a post is related to fishing but fits another board more directly we will often leave it on the Utah Fishing General board and allow members to respond to it for awhile. Once the responses start to die off it is moved to the more directly related board. One of the reasons it is moved to the other board is so that members can find it more easily when looking for it later, rather than having it buried in all of the posts on the Utah Fishing General board. A pointer is left on the Utah Fishing General Board until the thread moves to the second page and then the pointer is deleted. Sorry, but the other boards are there for a reason.

If a post is not related to fishing at all the thread will most often be immediately moved from the Utah Fishing General board to the appropriate board. A pointer may or may not be left behind.
