Does anyone know if there is safe ice in the narrows. Thanks for any Updates.
There is. It’s open water west of the buoys, but there’s ice. 5" of rotten ice and 5" of good, clear ice below it.
So do you know how the edges and ice are by cemetary and browning points? I haven’t read any recent reports of people doing much good up there but would like to get the kids out this weekend.
Not sure about other locations on the lake. I fished the narrows tonight and it’s solid. 8" of ice. Even the rotten stuff is solid now.

We were after crappie. Caught a few, but nothing to write home about. It was slower than normal. Beautiful night though. There was no wind in the narrows.
