Need a plank to get on the edges, slushy and wet but the catching for perch was good in 36-40 FOW.

I am hoping to take a group of young men out ice fishing to Pineview Sat.  I have not been up there for 2 weeks.  I am looking for reports on the edge conditions, how the ice is (slush, etc), and how the catching has been for perch.  These are first time ice fishers and I would love them to have a positive experience.
