Ol’ doug miller would have sure been proud if he would have seen that boy pounding them perch. We caught around 20 9-11 inches. No crappie but there is always the next time. Alot of fish coming through. Very very light bite. Fished in 53 feet of water in the narrows. Ice is 5-6 inches thick very little snow on it. I think we ought to get ol’ Adam to do a perch party up there. There is alot of young kids that could get hooked on fishing. I forsee an excellant ice fishing year for PV. So get all your kids and take them to PV. Drove by echo the ice looks good. Seen a few people fishing it. Drove by rockport another couple of cold nights and I believe the whole lake will be ready. Seen a few fishermen ice fishing the old ice. I did get a pic on Rockcliffs at Jordanelle looks like it is a couple hundred yards out. I believe with the next weeks freezing temperatures everything will tighten up and be safe. This first pic goes to show you what happens when you lose two pair of gortex gloves.
