Pineview! any one been up there today

Planning on a trip to Pineview tomorrow any reports would be greatly appreciated

Was up there today from about 10am till 3:30. Began fishing around the docks at the marina. In that particular area the ice was about 10-12 inches. Picked up a lot of dinky perch (10-15 or so) and only 2 keepers. Around 12:30 we picked up and moved over near the yacht club. Wow…what a hike that turned out to be. Treading through 8-10 inches of powder on top of 4-5 inches of slush made things interesting…ok, it sucked! Anyway, as we approached the docks at the yacht club noticed open water directly west of the docks from about 10-15 from shore. Needless to say we were pretty cautious. Did get a couple holes drilled near the docks but much to our disappointment it was dinksville again…did manage to pick up one keeper in that area. All in all, it was a great day…
Best advice I can give you is be prepared for the slush…

Good luck out there tomorrow…

ya i fished it a few days ago and there was 14 inches of snow plus the slush monster. Well thanks for the report i am headed to try browning point

We hit PV both Fri and Sat. If you stay on previous sled paths the slush isn’t that bad. As these paths are frozen solid. Once you venture off paths then expect to bust through the upper 6-8"crust layer of snow to the 3-4" of slush and water under the crust layer.

Good Luck!
