Perch and Uintas

Perch bite is picking up quickly. We got a bunch out of Rockport last eveningwith simple jigs and worms off the bottom. Students have been doing well at Echo as well. Same with smallie bite, I picked up 8 in a few minute after school at Echo tossing a senko . Brother-inlaw caught a bunch of Crappie at Pineview with a jig under a bobber with his kids ( he also caught 4 largemouth and a bunch of perch and smallies) . All these reports are from the shore. Also made a run up to Whitney to check on RV parking spots for an up coming trip. It is below 50%. So sad. Trout were on with silver bling. I love this time of year. Got to go chase some cats soon.

Anyone been up around Stillwater and the yellowstone area of the uintas. Thinking about pulling our RV that way for a week. Before I have to go on to ranch duties, but have not been that way for many years

Lots of action at many locations, this time in of the year, thanks for sharing all those reports Lance. It’s been many years since we camped at Moon lake and fished that part of the Unitas, including Stillwater but as long as you don’t go on a holiday weekend I’m sure you will be fine. We use to elk hunt and fish the Yellowstone great place. I heard there was no limits on cats, what is the reason behind that decision? Is no one hunting them anymore or have their numbers gotten that huge, that they need to be thinner out?
